Flats ahead of their time
These flats on the High Street were a bit ahead of their time: using a balcony instead of corridors was an idea that came back in 1960's and can be seen in the tower blocks and flats of the time.

I know nothing...
I love the look of this building, I know nothing however of what it use to be... it appears to now be flats though. Tomorrow I'll show you a close up of the chimney. Hopefully at some point I'll track it's orin down! Do you know?!

Prezzo
One of Buckingham's many restaurants. While the food is great here... I miss "The Tudor" pub that previously occupied this space.

The Kings Head
Recently this pub had undergone a redesign, it once was an ok pub... though perhaps a bit grotty. After the refit it languished and looked empty most the time while it attempted to be some sort of posh wine bar. I'm glad to see it's finally found the secret to success. Now that it's "Biker Friendly" the bikes and scooters are lined up out front nearly every evening and place is vibrating with activity.

Roosters
where I always order the chicken kebab with garlic mayo and lots and lots of extra peppers. And of course Shire Mobility where I bought my granny a walking stick :)

Town Hall
looking up the High Street towards Town Hall

sorry gang the back injury was a lot more extensive then I had originally thought! Sadly I wasn't doing anything fun or exciting when the injury happened :(
I'm healed for the most part, at least I can walk again... and I'm off to France on Friday for a week. I'll schedule posts but if I don't respond to comments it's because I'm too busy soaking up the beauty of the Dordogne and perhaps a bit drunk on wine.

Toombs Yard
Have you ever wondered what was down Toombs Yard... can't say I did... but then I never knew it was there!
Walking through town the other day I happened to look down this little alley way to discover these two quaint cottages tucked behind the High Street. What a delightful surprise!
