the old cinema: update
The original post is here.
as you can see nothing much has changed! This building, originally built in the 1930's has been both a Vauxhall Garage and a Cinema... if Sainsbury has its way in the future it may be demolished and in it's place a convenience store and flats will be built.
Personally... don't think we need the convenience store and I much rather see the building restored if it's still structurally sound.

a perfectly proportioned house
one of my favourites in town... look at all the details at the door alone (you may want to click through and view large) the vertical letterbox, the bell pull, the centre door handle... I love it all!

the old cinema
The old Chandos Road Cinema... seen better days. After several battles with youth and their misguided enthusiasm the doors and windows are all boarded. The building has also been home to a Vauxhall dealer. It's an absolute primo location and I'd love to see it occupied again.
