City Daily Photo: Paths and Passages

Today is the first of the month and that means "Theme Day"! February's theme is Paths and Passages.

It is also an exercise in learning that duplicating a photo is nearly impossible! I keep getting drawn back to this footbridge across the river and the previous photo I took was, to me at least, amazing. I still like this one but it certainly has a different feel to it. I know the lighting is different, the foliage is different, the crop is different, etc. But there's something appealing about the eerie quality the original had.

Well we all know I am drawn to a certain bridge. Both lovely low images and does show you what a little light and colour can alter the view.

Fascinating the difference in the two shots and both beautiful. Lovely choice for today's theme.

Both are gorgeous. Each evokes it's own mood.

You are drawn to the footbridge. What symbolism does it hold for you? I love the fotos and the contrast. Hope you are staying warm today.

i like how you juxtaposed the two pics. Its interesting to really study a subject in many different lights and seasons, etc.

Lovely rustic bridge, especially with the moss on the wood and where it leads to. I like both of them! Happy Theme Day!
