Buckingham Railway Walk

Part of the Buckingham Circular walk, the Railway Walk is an oasis for wildlife in the middle of Buckingham. The path runs along the old railway line, which was dismantled in 1967.
The line is now completely overgrown and provides a nice wet woodland walk, with much of the original track below water. This is a nice, calm and cool place on a hot summer's day.





The walk also features a pond which is full of wildlife:

Sorry for the gap in photos lately... learn from my lesson here... when you go out and just start blindly shooting in a hurry... because it's cold... and you want to go home...

check your settings... and don't have your ISO on 1600!

I'm struggling to salvage enough photos to get me to Monday when, weather permitting, I can reshoot :(

I took this shot on a whim, not paying much attention... and then when I realised it was taken in B&W I though... "urgh"

But you know when I got the shot off the camera I really liked the texture, the tangle of the trees, and the reflection.
